Missionary

My desire to be a missionary started 1995 when I surrendered to God's loving arms, I told God " I will do anything for You, just get me out of this pain that I inflicted on myself!" He did save me through His SON Jesus... (see details on my early blog entries)

"I'll do anything" is a promise of obedience.. So I made it my aim to do great exploits for HIM... a lifestyle of repentance and by grace a heart of obdience(not right away.. it takes a while..eventually). I became healthy(ate the right food groups), worked out, went to bible school, made friends with church people, lost weight, entered a bible study group, hang-out with the pastors and pastor's wives, lead small groups, etc etc..

I also did the spiritual disciplines... prayer and fasting.

Its been years and.. my desire to go and "do great exploits for HIM" is still burning in my heart however the years changed me. I actually am in the dark when I do go to another country.. the word for me is to just GO!! (I hope I'm making sense)

I'm in the dark because I let go of my agendas and pre-conceived notions on who is a missionary...

Oh I read allot of books and I am still reading my favorite book now is "the radical reformission" by Mark Driscoll. I recommend everyone to read it.

The point is go... the Holy Spirit will empower us as He sends us to the field. I've been waiting and still waiting for His time... I will go when He says so.

Oswald Chamber wrote "I know when the instructions have come from God because of their quiet persistence. But when I begin to weigh the pros and cons, and doubt and debate enter into my mind, I am bringing in an element that is not of God. This will only result in my concluding that His instructions to me were not right. Many of us are faithful to our ideas about Jesus Christ, but how many of us are faithful to Jesus Himself? Faithfulness to Jesus means that I must step out even when and where I can’t see anything (see Matthew 14:29)"

Law of Attraction

Law of Attraction- There are many who are starting to get attracted to the Law of Attraction. With the top rating multi-million sales of the Secret and the many Self- help seminars like the Landmark Forum. I want to share my experience regarding this. Here's a quote from... Abraham: You did not come into this environment to create through action. Instead, your action is meant to be a way in which you enjoy what you have created through thought. Esther Hicks Source: The Law of Attraction: The Basics Of The Teachings For as he thinks in his heart, so is he..proverbs 23:7 Ever since I remember I have always wanted a perfect life and I strive for perfection. I looked inside me and tried to change my heart from within.. I even attended self-help seminars and bought so many books. But my longing was deep.. so deep that people, knowledge and philosophies, etc cannot fill.. So I got outside help to fill the gap.. relationships, alcohol and even drugs to dull the deep need for signi

Guam Trip

Guam was like a family reunion for me.. i have loads of cousins and little newphews and nieces who live in guam.. I also have a very good japanese dive instructor who happens to own Papalagi dive shop in guam and a chain of dive shops in tokyo (he was in tokyo when we were in guam.) Anyways the trip was special because of family. Il post family pictures as soon as i get copies. The metro pacific group (producers of the show) treated us like family too!! It was cute to see the group which is composed of married men, be the leaders of the whole project. The wives really supported thier husbands. Truly, the show was a sucess because there was a flow of authority and unity within the group. Here are some pictures.. Lunch at the Marriot with Sitti, Kitchie and Mrs. Margie Nadal Kitchie's mommy :) We stayed at the Sheraton Resort Hotel! It was great! The food was super yummy and the place was so nice and clean.. we thank the metro pacific guys and wives for taking care of us. Our gig w
